April 21, (THEWILL) – Taraba State Governor, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku, has sympathised with the victims of Iware Bomb explosion and ordered the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of the deadly crime.
Ishaku, who condemned the act in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Mr Bala Dan Abu and made available to news men in Jalingo, said the attack is barbaric, wicked and an act of unprovoked aggression against innocent people.
The Governor enjoined security agencies to go after the perpetrators of the crime and bring them to book, while advising Tarabans to remain vigilant and report strange visitors to the traditional rulers or the authorities.
Ishaku also pledged support for those injured and receiving medical attention at the hospitals.
Also, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Prof Albasu Kunini, has also condemned the same attack stating that it is bestial and inhuman.
Kunini, who decried that the attack came at a time the state Government was doing all it can to ensure peace and secure the lives of people, advised Tarabans to remain watchful in these times.
He condoled with the victims, the Ardo Kola Local Government and the State government over the ugly incident.
