SAN FRANCISCO, August 05, (THEWILL) – The Group Executive Directors (GEDs) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have been relieved of their appointments, sources familiar with the development told THEWILL on Wednesday.
The GEDs were appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan in March 2014.
Details of their replacements remained sketchy as at press time.
Their removal from office is coming barely 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Dr. Ibe Kachikwu as new Group Managing Director (GED) of the state owned oil corporation.
