July 18, (THEWILL) – The Coordinator of Ikwo Development Centre, Hon. Onyekachi Nwoba, aka Bone, has commended Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, for uniting all political actors in the state under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the defection of former Senate President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGD), Anyim Pius Anyim.
Speaking to journalists during a media parley at the Ikwo Development Centre headquarters, Eleke Echara, on Thursday, July 18, Nwoba recounted how the good leadership style of the Governor has brought all political gladiators in the state into one party.
According to him, “The pragmatic, effective, admirable and unifying leadership of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, has united all political actors in the state under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“What Governor Nwifuru has done is unheard of, and no easy feat. We now have a situation where all political actors in the state want to identify with the Governor and his party. They are doing this not out of compulsion but after carefully weighing the Governor on a governance scale and coming to the conclusion that he has an “A” Grade.
“Our Governor’s commitment to peace, human capacity building and meeting all the needs of our people under the People’s Charter of Needs mantra is unmatched in the history of Nigeria. This is one Governor whose strength is in his meekness.
“A man imbued with the wisdom of Solomon and having the leadership dexterity of Abraham Lincoln. His ability to attract the likes of former Senate President and SGF, Anyim Pius Anyim, and Senator Obinna Ogba into the APC give a hint to the political magic wand he wields.
“Remnant members of opposition parties are looking for the opportunity to join the Governor’s party. And they are not being forced to do so. They are doing so willingly out of an organic love for Governor Nwifuru and his style of leadership.”
