SAN FRANCISCO, May 18, (THEWILL) – Michele Bacis has lost his second son in a freak home accident.

The Daily Mirror reports that the ex-player of Fiorentina, Genoa and Avellino, whose child was only 8 years old fell from the balcony of his home in Arezzo, Italy, a week after Bacis lost his uncle to COVID-19.

According to the report, the incident happened on Saturday when the kid was playing around the balcony of the house and lost his balance and fell three floors, he was rushed to San Donato Hospital in Arezzo but was declared dead already.

Genoa football club has since paid their condolences to Bacis following his incident.

The club tweeted: “We huddle with all our affection to Michele #Bacis, former rossoblù defender and his family.”
