Date:

August 02, (THEWILL) – Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, on Friday morning, fired tear gas to disperse protesters who gathered around the Berger bridge in Abuja.

THEWILL recalls that Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) had on Wednesday, issued an ex-parte order, restricting the #EndBadGovernance protesters to the MKO Abiola National Stadium.

Federal Capital Territory Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, on Thursday night, urged protesters to obey the court order, but leaders of the protesters say they had not been served with a copy of the said order.
