SAN FRANCISCO, June 08, (THEWILL) – Muhammad Ali posed for his last photo shoot in March, 2016 and the result is these beautiful but heart-breaking portraits showing just how much of a toll 32 years of Parkinson’s disease took on the former world champion.
Ali, who passed away last weekend was photographed in his Phoenix, Arizona home by British photographer, Zenon Texeira.
In one particularly moving photo, ‘The Greatest’ can be seen raising his fists as he used to in the boxing ring.
And even with the visible effect of age and sickness, it’s still not hard to see that charm that stole the world’s heart decades ago.
May his charming soul continue to rest in peace.
