July 06, (THEWILL) – Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps(So-Safe) has deployed officers across the 20 Local Government Areas of the state to ensure a crime-free Eid-il-Kabir celebration.
This follows the directive of the corps’ Commander, Soji Gonzallo, that officers of the So-Safe should be deployed to every nook and cranny of the state to ensure the security of lives and properties during the festival.
Spokesperson of the So-Safe corps, ACC Moruf Yusuf, said that the deployment of the officers to strategic places in the state was in continuation of the ‘operation secure places of worship’ that had been on three weeks ago.
Yusuf said that the operation, which kicks off on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 through Friday, July 15 2022, was to secure lives and properties of the residents including visitors and foil any crime attempt capable of truncating the relative peace in the state during the Eid-il-Kabir.
The So-Safe PRO, therefore, urged Imams and Alfas in the state to compile additional lists of their praying grounds for security, while urging them to preach the essence of vigilance according to their religious doctrine and adhere to them.

“The State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr)Soji Ganzallo, the Zonal and Area Commanders of the Corps have been instructed to detail Officers of the Corps and undercover Officers and Men to strategic places in continuation of the ‘operation secure places of worship’ that’s on since three weeks back.”
