BEVERLY HILLS, June 18 (THEWILL) – Mr. Ikedi Ohakim, a former Governor of Imo State, has been detained by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Ohakim was arrested on Thursday at his Abuja residence on allegations of graft allegedly perpetrated during his single term tenure as governor, after refusing to honour an earlier invitation on Wednesday, directing him to visit the EFCC headquarters.
