March 29, (THEWILL) – The Ebonyi State All Progressives Congress (APC) Publicity Secretary, Hon. Chidi Ogbuatu Simbard, has expressed satisfaction with the massive support accorded to the presidential ambition of the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engineer Chief David Nweze Umahi, during Saturday’s APC national convention.
A press statement signed by Chidi Ogbuatu, appreciated Governor Umahi for connecting Ebonyi State to the center, boasting that the emergence of the following Ebonyians Hon Matthew Uguru as National Treasurer, Chief Innocent Itapah Azuobu as South East Zonal Secretary and Barr Ernest Ogbonna as South East legal Adviser, was a clear testament that Ebonyi people have started reaping the benefits of connecting to the center.
According to the statement, with the outcome of this national Convention, Ebonyi State has broken another history to have secured these lucrative positions under APC, which the state never had while in the other social club that calls herself a Political party.
“Ebonyi State All Progressives Congress (APC) heartily felicitate with our brand new National Chairman and the Chairman of the largest political party in Africa (APC), His Excellency, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and all the elected National and Zonal Working Committee members, for their emergence in the keenly contested offices at the just concluded National Convention of the All Progressives Congress held on Saturday, 26th March, 2022 at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
“We also wish to celebrate our people that were elected into the various positions of trust at the National and Zonal offices including; Hon Matthew Uguru as National Treasurer, Chief Innocent Itapah Azuobu as South East Zonal Secretary and Barr Ernest Ogbonna as South East legal Adviser.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC), has proved their love for Ebonyi people and we are forever grateful. We are not surprised at the massive support on your Presidential ambition by people’s across board, which we witnessed during the Convention.
