Duchess of Cambridge paid a tribute to her mother-in-law, Princess Diana as she stepped out for the annual Diplomatic Reception held in Buckingham Palace wearing the late Princess’ favourite tiara.
Kate who arrived the event with her husband, Prince Williams in a chauffeur-driven Bentley teamed the dazzling diamond and pearl Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara with her diamond chandelier earrings and an icy blue dress.
The tiara was originally made Queen Mary in 1914 and willed to Queen Elizabeth who subsequently gave it to Diana as a wedding present in 1981.
Interestingly, this would be the third time the Duchess would be wearing a tiara since she was married into the royal family.
