BEVERLY HILLS, January 05, (THEWILL) – Rapper and music mogul, Dr Dre was transported to the ICU at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday after suffering a brain aneurysm (a swollen blood vessel in the brain).
There were fears for Dre’s life following reports that he was transported in an ambulance to the facility, but he posted a message on Tuesday night that he’s doing great.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
According to TMZ which quoted sources with direct knowledge of Dre’s medical problem, doctors at the hospital are still trying to figure out what caused the swelling and bleeding in his brain and have ordered multiple tests.
THEWILL reports that Dre is engulfed in the bitter and highly contentious split from his beautiful wife, Nicole, who is demanding $2m a month in spousal support and $5m for her legal fees.
