David Adeleke popularly called Davido and his record label, DMW, have terminated the about two-weeks old contract of one of its recording artistes and rapper, Sanni Goriola aka Lil Frosh, for allegedly beating his girlfriend, Gift Camile, severally.
Michael, Gifts brother and manager, who made the allegation in a post on social media, weekend and backed it with photos showing Gift’s swollen eyes, claimed the disgraced rapper subjects her to abuse and inhuman treatment.
THEWILL reported this earlier.
Reacting to the allegation, the record label issued a statement Tuesday terminating its relationship with the rapper, stressing that it does not condone violence against women.
The statement read in part: “In light of the recent allegations made against Mr Sanni Goriola Wasiu aka Lil Frosh, we would like to state that as a record label, domestic violence is not a trivial matter and we will never support or condone such behavior.”
Lil Frosh has not commented on either the allegation or his sack from DMW.
THEWILL reports that Lil Frosh joined DMW officially this September from his former label “Aloma Music Worldwide” due to “irreconcilable differences.”
