Darmian Commits To Inter With Contract Extension Until 2024

February 02, (THEWILL) – Matteo Darmian, the full-back for Inter, has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2024.

The previous deal was set to expire at the end of this season, but the new agreement ensures that Darmian will continue to be a key part of Inter’s squad. The announcement was made by Inter on Thursday, just two days after Darmian scored the winning goal in the Coppa Italia quarter-final match against Atalanta.

Darmian joined Inter in 2020, from Manchester United and made an immediate impact, helping the club win the Serie A title in his first season. He went on to win the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana in the following year, solidifying his status as an important player for the club.

The Italian international expressed his excitement about the contract extension through a video on social media, saying, “Hi Inter fans. I’m delighted to keep on wearing these colours. See you at the stadium.”

The new contract for Darmian comes at a crucial time for Inter, as they are currently competing for the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia. The club will look to Darmian’s experience and leadership to help them achieve their goals this season.
