Cuadrado Joins Inter After Eight Years At Juventus

July 19, (THEWILL) – Inter Milan have announced the signing of Colombian winger, Juan Cuadrado, on a one-year deal.

The 35-year-old joins the Serie A side after an eight-year spell at Juventus, which ended when his contract expired at the end of June. Inter described Cuadrado as having “technique, versatility and reliability” and said he was ready for a new adventure with the Nerazzurri.

THEWILL recalls that Cuadrado initially joined Juventus on loan from Chelsea in 2015, before signing a permanent contract two years later. During his time at Juventus, the winger helped the team win five Serie A titles, four Italian Cups, and two Super Cups. He also won the English Premier League and League Cup while playing in England.

It is on record that he provided the highest number of assists in the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League and at the 2014 World Cup. Cuadrado has made 115 appearances for his country, second only to goalkeeper David Ospina, who has 127 appearances.
