SAN FRANCISCO, December 30, (THEWILL) – American actress, Angela Kinsey, says she tested positive for coronavirus after four of her family members contracted the deadly virus.
THEWILL notes that the actress had earlier disclosed that her mother was hospitalized after she contracted the virus in another state and then shared a screenshot of her test result revealing her COVID-19 status.
The actress disclosed to her followers that she took the test since she felt ‘a little off’.
Kinsey said: “I started to feel unwell and went to get tested again. I knew the odds were against me since I was living with four Covid positive people. I really tried to quarantine and not get it.”
Kinsey has been keeping her fans updated concerning the health of her family after Joshua Snyder, her husband and three children contracted the virus.
Announcing the news that her family had contracted the virus, Kinsey wrote: “Morning. Merry Christmas Eve. It’s been a tough few days here but my morning mask hair and I wanted to say a big thank you for all of your messages of love and support. They have meant so much! To bring some of you up to speed, last weekend our boys started running low-grade fevers. We got everyone tested and the boys tested positive for Covid.
“We don’t go out and about and have been in lockdown so we aren’t sure how they got it. My husband, daughter and I all tested negative. We went into quarantine in our own home. Living in separate bedrooms, wearing masks etc.”
Kinsey also stated that days later her husband and daughter also caught the virus. “This week Isabel and Josh start running a fever. We immediately tested them again. Isabel and Josh now have Covid. I somehow do not. I am now quarantining by myself.
“So far they are all having very mild cases and I am thankful for that. We’ll be having a masked Covid Christmas over here. Stay safe you all! Sending you my love. (And, I am double masking when I am around my family. This cloth mask and an N95 over it but it’s hard to breathe. I just figured you all might be curious how I’m navigating getting through my house.)”
The actress also updated the public concerning how the mum is doing in the hospital.
She wrote: “I can’t sleep. I’m thinking about my mum alone in a hospital room and no one can visit her because she has Covid. I’m thinking about my husband and kids that I have to quarantine away from in my own home because they have Covid and I do not. My mum is in Texas. I am in California. But it doesn’t matter where you are. This is everywhere.
“Thank you for sharing your Covid stories with me. They make me feel less alone. Nighttime is the worst. I feel powerless and worried and I pray.”
