BEVERLY HILLS, March 28, (THEWILL) – A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has revoked the bail it granted leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

THEWILL recalls that the Federal High Court had granted Kanu bail in 2017 with two sureties.

However, the IPOB leader went missing and later resurfaced in Jerusalem.

Revoking his bail, Justice Binta Nyako issued a warrant of arrest against Kanu for his consistent absence at court hearings on his case.

Justice Nyako also directed that court proceedings should continue even in his absence.
