June 13, (THEWILL) – Ekiti State-born chef, Damilola Adeparusi, has been gifted the sum of N500,000 and a two-week cook tour in the US by a Nigerian doctor, Dr. Ayo Arojo.
Chef Dammy caught the attention of Nigerians after embarking on a 120-hour cook-a-thon in an attempt to surpass Hilda Bassey Effiong, aka Hilda Baci’s 100 hours cook-a-thon record.
Announcing his offer for chef Dammy, Arojo took to his Facebook page to drum up support for the Ekiti chef and also announced his gift for her.
“Chef Dammy will be invited for a two-week cook tour in the United States. I can’t wait for her to start the process! Let us continue to support her,” he wrote.
