February 23, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari, has arrived the Senate Chamber of the National Assembly to observe the formal laying of the report of the committee on the review on amendments to the 1999 constitution.
The first lady along with her entourage, was ushered into the chamber at 12.01 pm on Wednesday.
Her entourage included the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen; and the Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed.
Upon her arrival, the senate suspended the order at exactly 12.00 pm to allow the first lady and her entourage into the senate chambers.
The laying of the report of the constitution Review is being done by the senate committee on the Alteration to the provisions of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, headed by the deputy senate president, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
