Cleric Donates Classroom Block To Community School In Akwa Ibom

March 22, (THEWILL) – A popular cleric in Akwa Ibom State and general overseer of Full Life Christian Centre, Rev Ntia I. Ntia, has built and handed over a 6-Classroom Block to Offot Ukwa Community Secondary School, Uyo, to mark his 50th Birthday.

Speaking while handing over the project to Akwa Ibom State Government, Rev Ntia stated that God kept him alive to impact the lives of others, noting that the reason God gave people strength is to help the weak.

He commended the state governor, His Excellency Udom Emmanuel for rendering quality, free and compulsory education for all children in the state, urging him to do even more within his remaining days in the office.

“I discovered that God preserved my life to keep impacting on other people’s lives and the only reason God makes us strong is so that you use your strength to help the weak,  I pray that this Education project brings the blessings of wisdom, knowledge, good health, continuous development, prosperity, and increase in future destiny for the students, teachers, Principal of this school and entire state.

“We thank God for our Governor, His Excellency, Udom Emmanuel, for the free compulsory education, God is using him to do in the Educational sector of the state, and we pray that in the remaining time of his tenure, he will do more.”

“As we cut the tape, let it be the entrance of a new face of blessings, favour, development, progress, for Offot Ukwa Community Secondary School and the entire Akwa Ibom state.

Receiving the facility on behalf of the State Government, the Hon Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet, lauded the Senior Pastor of Full Life Christian Centre for such impactful service created in the Educational sector of the state.

According to her, it was uncommon to see such gestures from pastors, noting that what he has done amounted to the words of Nelson Mandela on using the best weapon; which is education, to change the world.

Etiebet called on well meaning Nigerian pastor’s and citizens to emulate Reverend Ntia, by also investing their quota in the Educational sector as well as other sectors of the polity.

“I thank Rev Ntia I Ntia for the impact and investment in education in the state today, ‘Nelson Mandela said that the best weapon used to change the world is Education’

So as Rev Ntia is investing in education in our dear state, he is not only changing the life of this community, but the entire generation, and generations to come.

“On behalf of the state governor, and Education friendly Governor, we say thank you to Rev Ntia I. Ntia, and the wife, Pastor Mrs Ukamaka Ntia, the role model for women, thanks for supporting your husband to bring the Educational project to limelights, may God bless you abundantly.

“And I pray that the students that pass through this school will be great sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom state in Jesus name amen. And to Rev, I pray that your children will make you proud in Jesus name, Amen!” Etiebet prayed.

Highlights of the event was the presentation of the Kingdom impact and global Ministerial award in recognition of his outstanding impact and genuine commitment to the kingdom of God and academic excellence to the donor and his wife.

Presenting the awards, the chairman, Akwa Ibom State Secondary Education Board, Rt Hon. Ekaete Ebong Okon, prayed for a higher calling of God for honour done the state with such beautiful edifice of learning.

The school principal, Mrs Enobong Ime Inyang, described the block donated by the cleric as a legacy project which has brought Joy to the whole school, Ofot Ukwa community and state at large.

The 2020 best school principal award winner expressed sincere appreciation to the family of Rev. Ntia whose first daughter, Miss Favour Ntia is serving as a Youth Corp member in the institution, praying for blessings to the family and ministry, which according to her has impacted so much on the lives of people globally.

“I want to first of all thank God almighty for keeping us alive to see a day like this. The legacy project brings Joy to us here in Offot Ukwa Community Secondary School, the entire members of the community are happy, the State Secondary Education Board chairman and members are equally happy.

 “If I have a million tongues, if I can pray and sing at the same time, I would pray and say God to bless the general overseer of Full life Christian centre, Rev Ntia I. Ntia, his family and ministry”. she expressed.
