November 10, (THEWILL) – The family of late Nollywood actress, Chinedu Bernard, has announced her burial arrangement.
According to the obituary, Bernard will be laid to rest on Friday, November 11, in her father’s compound at No. 48 Uhuagu road, Enugu State.
Her body will leave Ntasi Obi Mortuary to Holy Trinity Catholic Church for her last mass service.
Bernard, who was a fast-rising actress, slumped on Friday, April 29, while cleaning the Chapel of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church inside the Federal Housing area in Enugu State.
Rev Fr. Uchendu Chukwuma, who is a priest and some parishioners rushed her to East Side Hospital in Enugu, where she was confirmed dead.
However, concerns were raised when bruises were noticed in the pictures of the deceased, which were taken from her hospital bed.
Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actor’s Guild of Nigeria, AGN, demanded for an autopsy to ascertain the real cause of Bernard’s death.
He revealed that the actress was either killed or took a poisonous substance and decided to die in the church.
According to him, many questions needed to be answered concerning the actress’ mysterious death.
