April 11, (THEWILL) – Chelsea have announced that full-back, Ben Chilwell, has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
Since joining the club from Leicester City in 2020 for a reported £45m, Chilwell has played an integral role in the team’s recent success. Earlier this week, news broke that Chelsea and Chilwell had agreed to new and improved contract terms, which have now been officially confirmed.
Chilwell expressed his happiness and commitment to the club’s long-term project: “I feel very settled at Chelsea and have really enjoyed my time on the pitch here, so I’m very pleased the club want me to be part of the project long-term and am very happy to sign this extension to my contract.”
