February 02, (THEWILL) – Chelsea have recently undergone a drastic increment of personnel and are now planning on selling several of their first-team players this summer to balance out the squad.

THEWILL recalls that the west London club has already signed 16 new players in the past year and are still looking to make room for more. As a result, they are open to offers for key players like Christian Pulisic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Although it is yet to be seen if Romelu Lukaku, will return to the club for another season on loan from Inter Milan, one player who may not be staying with the club is Callum Hudson-Odoi. Currently on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, it is uncertain if he will return to Chelsea once the loan period is over. Both Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly tracking his progress.

The arrival of Enzo Fernandez could also lead to Conor Gallagher having to consider his options at the club. However, the top priority at the moment for Stamford Bridge is to secure a new contract for Mason Mount.

With only 18 months left on his current contract, the club needs to act quickly. If negotiations with Mount drag on, it could lead to Liverpool bidding for him in the summer. The club is hoping to secure the future of one of its key players and avoid losing him to a rival club.
