April 10, (THEWILL) — Champion Breweries Plc has fully redeemed its ₦15 billion inaugural Commercial Paper issuance, marking a significant milestone in its debt capital market activities and reinforcing investor confidence in the company.

In a statement released on Thursday, the brewer confirmed the repayment of its Series 2 notes valued at ₦10.78 billion, which matured on April 1, 2026. This follows the earlier settlement of its Series 1 issuance of ₦4.22 billion in December 2025, completing the full redemption of the programme launched in July 2025.

The company noted that the issuance was oversubscribed, attracting a wide range of institutional investors. It said this reflects strong market confidence in its financial stability, strategic direction, and long-term growth prospects.
