January 16, (THEWILL) – Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has returned to Nigeria from his annual leave vacation abroad.

The apex bank in a statement issued by its Director, Corporate Communications, Osita Nwanisobi, said Emiefiele resumed his duty as Governor of the bank on Monday.

The statement followed a fake report by an online news outlet that officials of the Department of State Services (DSS), on Monday afternoon, invaded the CBN Headquarters in Abuja, condoning the office of the apex bank Governor.
