CBN Bars Exporters With Unrepatriated Export Proceeds From All Banking Services

BEVERLY HILLS, January 23, (THEWILL) – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has instructed that all exporters with unrepatriated export proceeds should be barred from accessing all banking services by 31st January 2021.

The CBN gave the directive in a circular sent to all the banks in the country

Affected exporters are therefore expected to comply with this directive before the specified date.

The circular asked exporters to direct all enquiries on this directive to their respective banks.
