April 05, (THEWILL) – The founder of Cash App and Chief Product Officer of cryptocurrency company, MobileCoin, Bob Lee, has been stabbed to death.

MobileCoin confirmed that on Tuesday, Lee was killed in a fatal stabbing in San Francisco, California.

Unfortunately, Lee was rushed to the hospital where he breathed his last.

The San Francisco police are currently carrying out investigations into the gruesome incident. They have provided no information yet on how Lee was stabbed but said the incident happened at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Main Street.

Lee was an influential figure in the world of technology and finance, having founded Cash App in 2013.
