BEVERLY HILLS, March 02, (THEWILL) – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has updated its regulations regarding the participation of the media in the coverage of the 43rd General Assembly of the continental football governing body billed for the Friday, March 12 in Morocco, due largely to continuing concerns over the prevalence of the coronavirus pandemic in Africa.

CAF also extended that update to the coverage of the Total CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Under-17 competition scheduled between 13-31 March 2021, following the General Assembly and also hosted in Morocco.

In the update, the Federation informed relevant media organisations and persons intending to cover the activities at both of these CAF events, the General Assembly and the AFCON, that there will no no physical participation, as all media operations were going to be entirely virtual.
