CAF Executive Committee To Convene In Rabat For Important Meeting

July 05, (THEWILL) – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee is scheduled to gather in Rabat, Morocco, on Friday, July 7.

Chaired by CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, the meeting will commence at 11:00 local time. The Committee will address various crucial topics, including the ongoing bidding process for the hosting rights of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2025 and 2027. Additionally, discussions will revolve around preparations for the upcoming 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly set to take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on July 13.

One of the primary matters on the agenda for the CAF Executive Committee meeting is the selection process for the hosting of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2025 and 2027. Member associations have been actively participating in the bidding process, and the Committee will deliberate on the submitted proposals. The decision holds significant importance as it determines the future hosts of Africa’s most prestigious football tournament.
