The prestigious awards will recognise outstanding performances from both club and country over the past year, with the spotlight on crowning the CAF African Player of the Year in both men’s and women’s categories. The stage is set for fierce competition as Mane and Oshoala contend with other shining talents from the continent.

Previous winners in the men’s category include illustrious names such as Yaya Toure, Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Mohammed Salah, Riyad Mahrez, Nwankwo Kanu, Abedi Pele, and the legendary George Weah, among others. In the women’s category, Oshoala’s dominance has been evident, with multiple wins in recent years.
