BEVERLY HILLS, January 07, (THEWILL) – The Los Angeles home of veteran American rapper, Dr Dre, was the target of a burglary ring on Tuesday while the music mogul was hospitalized after he suffered a brain aneurysm.
According to police, nothing was taken by the suspects who tried and failed to break into the Brentwood pad of the rapper around 10 p.m.
According to ABC7, in a surveillance operation in the neighbourhood, police sighted an SUV believed to be involved in the ring and nabbed four suspects, according to ABC7.
The 55-year-old rapper has not reacted to the attempted burglary but he has opened up about his health.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes,” he said in a statement. “I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
THEWILL writes that Dr Dre’s hospitalization came after his divorce battle with his former wife, Nicole Young, who wants $2 million per month in spousal support.
