BEVERLY HILLS, December 04, (THEWILL) – Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, has slammed Bishop David Oyedepo over his statement on President being dead and cloned as Jubril Sudan.

Oyedepo quoted an article written by Olatunde Dare, a columnist of the Nation Newspaper, saying Buhari could have died when he sought medical treatment in London and that someone cloned as him, is currently presiding over Nigeria.

Dare, who is known for satire, taunted those propagating the rumour that Buhari had died in the piece Oyedepo quoted.

The journalist jocularly said representatives of the Jubril family showed up in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, and threatened to spill the beans if the federal government did not meet their demands.

Reading from the piece, the fiery pastor re-echoed Dare’s satire that the Nigerian government entered an agreement with the family of one Jubril in Sudan to give them a replacement for Buhari and that the resources of the nation are now being shared with Sudan as though it were factual and authoritative.

He then called on Buhari to as a matter of urgency address the nation on the allegation and asked the congregation to pray.

Reacting, on his Twitter page, Ogunlesi describd Oyedepo as a hater of Buhari and wondered why the cleric would go to a far length to discredit the President.

Ogunlesi wrote: “Olatunji Dare, one of Nigeria’s finest satirists, wrote a piece titled ‘Buhari’s Double’ on Nov 27:

“Pastor of one of Nigeria’s LARGEST CHURCHES cites the SATIRE in a sermon as evidence PMB likely dead.

“I know the Bishop has always detested PMB (its a free world, really, the right to dislike anyone is guaranteed constitutionally atink), but I don’t understand why he keeps going this far to peddle/amplify (from the pulpit) falsehood and disinformation about him. Really puzzling.“

Since the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu resurfaced, he has been alleging that the Buhari in Aso villa is an imposter whose real name is Jibril Aminu Al-Sudani from Sudan but the President, on Sunday, in Krakow, Poland, denied the rumour.
