Buhari Wins Osun In Close Race

BEVERLY HILLS, February 24, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has won the presidential election in Osun State in a tight vote, according to the Returning Officer of the election, Professor Toyin Ogundipe.

Buhari, who won in 18 local government areas, polled 347, 674 to defeat Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 337, 377 and won in 12 local governments.
