BEVERLY HILLS, March 30, (THEWILL) – Ahead of his planned trip to London later in the day, President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday morning met with the nation’s service chiefs at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
Present at the meeting were: Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor; Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Attahiru; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amoo.
The National Security Adviser to the President, Maj.-Gen Babagana Monguno (retd.); the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari; amongst others were also at the meeting.
THEWILL had earlier reported that Buhari would proceed for a routine medical check-up in London Tuesday.
He is due back in a fortnight, which is the second week of April, according to presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina.
