BEVERLY HILLS, July 16, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has terminated the appointment of Mr. Patrick Ziakede Akpobolokemi as Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The termination of Mr. Akpobolokemi’s appointment takes immediate effect, a Presidency statement said Thursday, directing him to “hand over the management of NIMASA and all government property in his possession to the most senior officer in the agency who will remain in charge until a new Director-General is appointed.”
Akpobolokemi, a nominee of former militant commander, Tompolo, was appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan.
