Buhari Appoints New Chief Personal Security Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, June 29, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his new Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO), Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, said in a statement, Monday.

DCP Musa, who hails from Niger State, was assigned his new post from the Nigerian Police Force Zone 5, Benin City.

Musa’s appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Commissioner of Police (CP) Abdulkarim Dauda.
