BEVERLY HILLS, August 31, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday in Abuja administered the oath of office and oath of allegiance to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Babachir David Lawal.
The event, held at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, also witnessed the swearing in of the National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Major General Babagana Munguno and the President’s Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Mr. Femi Adesina.
At the end of the event, the new SGF, who spoke on behalf of others, thanked President Buhari for appointing them to their posts.
“We want to thank God for granting the President the vision, wisdom, kindness and boldness to consider us worthy for positions of responsibilities,” he said.
