June 04, (THEWILL) – Officals of Queen Elizabeth’s Buckingham Palace and BBC publicist, have reportedly rejected Kim Kardashian’s request to attend the Queen’s Platinum Party at the Palace on Saturday.
On February 6, 2022, her majesty, the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth Alexander Mary Windsor, became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
To celebrate the unprecedented anniversary, events and initiatives would take place throughout the year. A four day UK bank holiday weekend and festivities has been planned from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.
A Platinum Jubilee party is taking place on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Ahead of the event, Kim Kardashian’s representative requested tickets for the event, however, the request was turned down as “tickets had already gone to the military personnel’s family and military VIP’s”, according to the Sun.
Kim, who recently flew in to London with her beau, Pete Davidson, to witness the historic royal event is reportedly looking for ways to acquire tickets by other means.
Daily Mail stated that the reality show star wants to attend the event so badly that she doesn’t care if the tickets are VIP’s or not.
Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been surprising especially as she doesn’t visit the UK often.
