They said a paper shortage has overturned the release timeline for the book to be published by Simon & Schuster.

The shortage was attributed to more people ordering books during the pandemic, decreasing the paper supply.

Other sources argue people had quit their manufacturing jobs at paper plants, causing an ongoing labour shortage.

Spears, in February, received a $15 million advance for her forthcoming memoir in a deal that is said to be one of the biggest for a memoir after that of Obama, who signed with Penguin Random House for over $60 million.

The publication, it is belived, will cover her days as a child star, finding stardom, and the fallout with her family

In 2008, Spears’ father was made her conservator after she was purportedly hospitalised over mental health issues.

All decisions about Spears’ personal, medical, and financial affairs had been completely controlled by her father.

Spears, however, later initiated a legal battle with her father, who she accused of exploiting her.

She filed a petition and got him suspended, with a judge replacing her father with the accountant, John Zabel.

This allowed the conservatorship to continue until its termination on November 12, 2021.

The tussle and successive victory made Spears a symbol of conservatorship law reform and human rights in the US.
