May 15, (THEWILL) – American singer, Britney Spears and her fiance, Sam Asghari, have lost their baby.
The two posted a joint message on Instagram about their loss. This development is coming one month, after the duo announced that they are expecting their first child together.
“It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps, we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However, we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support, we kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
The duo got engaged last September. Spear is already a mother of two children she shares with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
Spear announced that she was expecting a child with Sam in April.
