September 14, (THEWILL) – Popular American singer, Britney Spears, has announced her engagement to Sam Asghari, her long-term boyfriend.
The 39-year-old songwriter announced this in an Instagram post on Tuesday as she shared a video of the pair.
“I can’t f**king believe it,” she captioned the short clip.
Asghari also uploaded a picture of them kissing on his Instagram page as the singer showed off the engagement ring.
The pair first met in 2016 when Asghari, a fitness trainer, co-starred with Spears in the music video for “Slumber Party.”
Brandon Cohen, Asghari’s manager, confirmed the engagement’s news to the popular American news outlet, People Magazine.
“The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them,” he said.
