October 21, (THEWILL) – Leader of a South-East separatist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Thursday arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja amidst tight security.
Kanu was ferried into the Court premises under a heavy security convoy at exactly 8:am.
His lead Counsel, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, confirmed that his client is in court to face his trial.
The IPOB leader is being prosecuted by the Federal Government on a 7-count amended charge bordering on allegations of terrorism, treason, money laundering among others.
