January 11, (THEWILL) – Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has hinged the poor turnout of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Southeast rally held at the Okpara Square in Enugu State, to the increase in petrol pump price.
Speaking as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s Campaign Coordinator in the Southeast, the Governor observed that the crowd at the Okpara Square was expected to be more if not for fuel scarcity.
“I entered here, I see the crowd and I know we are more than this. I learnt there is fuel scarcity and that the vehicles paid for did not come,” he said.
He called on the people of the Southeast to vote massively for the presidential candidate of the APC and other candidates of the party.
THEWILL can report authoritatively that petroleum pump prices had skyrocketed before and after the yuletide, warranting the sale of fuel at over N300 per litre.
