BREAKING I: First Chibok Girl Found In Sambisa Forest

SAN FRANCISCO, May 18, (THEWILL) – One of the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram over two years ago has been found alive at the Edge of the Sambisa Forest in Borno State.

Reports said Amina Ali Nkeki, the first of the girls to be rescued, was found on Tuesday by vigilante fighters (Civilian Joint Task Force) near the border of Nigeria and Cameroun and was taken to her family in Chibok Town for confirmation and subsequently transferred to the military for debriefing.

THEWILL further gathered that she was identified and recognised by one of the fighters.

The Nigerian government has not formally commented on the development.

About 276 girls were kidnapped in the middle of the night from their hostel at the Chibok Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State in April 2014.
