Brahimi Brilliance Gives Nice Comfortable 3-0 over Ajaccio

February 11, (THEWILL) – In Terem Moffi’s first home game for new side, OGC Nice against AC Ajaccio, the hosts encountered a serious match from start to finish, but Nice effortlessly defeated Ajaccio 3-0.

Despite a lack of offensive inspiration, Nice were able to count on a magnificent Billal Brahimi, who scored two beautiful goals. This victory allowed the eagles to return to 7th place in the standings.

The game was not entirely inspiring, and Nice were given the chance to quickly attack while keeping possession. Nice captain Dante first put his team ahead with an early first goal in the 3rd minute of play, thanks to a header from a corner.

It then took until the second half and the Billal Brahimi, effect for the hosts to finally feel reassured of maximum points from the tie. The 22-year-old Algerian demonstrated his talents to score two magnificent curling shots, and clean the goalkeeper, Benjamin Leroy’s crossbar twice.

Nice are now 7th in Ligue 1 and are gradually closing in on the European places. Their next match is at home next Saturday, against Reims and it is hoped that Moffi could have acclimated to the new environment and start to put his name on the scoresheet for Nice.
