BEVERLY HILLS, December 21, (THEWILL) – A video has surfaced on the internet, showing several soldiers fighting Boko Haram terrorists in the North East, surrounding three of their colleagues who they alleged fainted due to lack of food and water.
In the video, which was uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday, one of the soldiers explained that over 70 soldiers fainted due to lack of water, adding that they had spent up to three days at their location without water and food.
Another soldier begged that their message should be passed to President Muhammadu Buhari, suggesting it would be wrong for them to perish for lack of water after surviving the deadly insurgent.
The video depicting the plight of Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram is coming less than a week after troops attached to the 21 Brigade of the Nigerian Army turned against their superior officers, claiming that “their commanders have been treating them badly and telling them lies”.
