September 23, (THEWILL) – Three Barcelona players; Memphis Depay, Ousmane Dembele and Jules Kounde, all sustained injuries while on international duty on Thursday.
All three had excellent nights as their countries prevailed, with the Netherlands and France defeating Poland and Austria by scores of 2-0 and 1-0, respectively. But, after 49 minutes in Warsaw, Memphis went to ground holding his hamstring and had to be replaced right away by Vincent Janssen.
While Dembele entered the France game in the final 10 minutes and experienced muscle pain before the game ended in Paris, Kounde was forced off after just 23 minutes due to an injury. There are worries that the summer signing has a torn hamstring and will be sidelined for a considerable amount of time.

Memphis and Kounde are departing their respective nations to return to Barcelona, where they will soon be examined by doctors to determine the full extent of their wounds.
