August 12, (THEWILL) – Dare Fasasi, also known as Baba Dee, brother of late Olanrewaju Fasasi, aka Sound Sultan, has berated hypocrites in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
THEWILL recalls that Sound Sultan died on Sunday, 11th July after battling cancer.
The news of his death had Nigerian entertainers sending condolences to him on social media and speaking about his works while alive.
Some artists like Tuface Idibia, Faze paid tribute to the late singer as they performed at “A Night of Tribute” organised in his memory.
However, Baba Dee, took to his Instagram page lambasting those who took to social media to mourn Sound Sultan but did nothing in private like reaching out to his wife.
He, however, did not mention names tagging them as fake friends whose deaths will be used to generate social media content.
He wrote: “Fake friends. Not a call to his wife, didn’t bother to attend his memorial event on a sit-at-home Saturday yet posting pictures and video on social media.
“Your death shall also be used to generate social media content.”
