SAN FRANCISCO, December 05, (THEWILL) – Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong’o is the cover star for the January issue of Essence Magazine; And like the star she is, the Oscar winner shone on the cover!
Lupita tells the magazine that she never expected the awards that came with her role in 12 Years A Slave. “When I dreamed of being an actor, I didn’t dream of the praise that would come with it,” she says. “I didn’t dream of the awards. I dreamed of inhabiting different characters. That was the dream.”
