February 09, (THEWILL) – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s time in the English Premier League could be coming to an end, as reports emerge that the striker is set to move to Major League Soccer (MLS).
According to reports monitored by THEWILL, Aubameyang is close to joining Los Angeles FC on loan. The move would allow Chelsea to save on Aubameyang’s wages and alleviate some of their financial burdens.
Despite a promising stint in Barcelona, Aubameyang’s return to the EPL has not gone as planned. The striker was left out of Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League squad to make room for new signings, signalling that he may not be a part of their long-term plans.
With the situation at Stamford Bridge unclear, a move to MLS appears to be the best option for Aubameyang.
