Atiku Alleges Intimidation, Says Security Agents Searched His Jet

SAN FRANCISCO, November 11, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and a former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Sunday said security agents at the Nigerian airport searched his luxury jet at around past midnight when he returned from Dubai, where he had been strategizing for his election.

Atiku tweeted that the bid was done to intimidate him and his staff.

I arrived to Abuja this morning to a search by agents of the state, aimed at intimidating me and my staff.

I am committed to building a Nigeria where no citizen is intimidated by agents of state who are paid to protect them.
